This is a section where basically I have a bit of a rant. It typically will include stuff relating to gay and lesbian issues, but not necessarily to do directly with coming out - the primary focus of this site. Other times it will contain just pure personal stuff which may give you an insight into who I am. Mind you, you may find that voyage entirely too boring.
About me: Yes, this is where I explain a little bit about me. Not necessarily the most interesting thing to read, but if you want to see a bit of what drives me, and what I do, then this is a good place to look.
Maintain the Rage: It is often said that anger is a negative emotion, and yes, that is generally true. However, anger can be a powerful motivator, and used well, it can be a motivator for good. There are a lot of things to be angry about if you happen to be homosexual. In most places, we're still not afforded equal rights. The far right still insists that we are seeking special rights, when in fact, all we're ever asking for are equal rights.
When I see inequality towards gays, lesbians, bisexuals, in fact, all non-heterosexuals, it makes me mad. But I don't try to suppress the anger or think, "someone else will right the wrong"; I think instead that by staying mad about it, I might partake in some action or write some letter or make some phone call which, in some way, however small, might make a difference. Refocusing your anger about injustice is a wonderful way of channeling energy into a fight against that injustice.
