About Us

Denise has bee living at Edgeworth  for 30 years  and married to Fred for 33 years and has been breeding Silkies since 1976.We have two children  a boy David  28 and a girl Kim aged 26 both are married.

Denise was Born at Waratah and lived most of her growing years at Hamilton.She attended Hamilton
Primary & Secondary Schools.
After working at Peters Icecream  in Newcastle for 6 years & various other firms,in 1982 Denise became a Girl Guide Leader at              Edgeworth,for about 8 years. Where our daughter received her B.P.award.
After which Denise became a Personal Care Assistant & is at presentworking with the aged in a voluntary position .Denise also works with the Northlake Carers and Meals on Wheels.
Denise is still trying to breed the perfect Silky.Hopefully we have are close to achieving this with Brendon Blu.

Fred was born at Waratah & Lived his growing years between Waratah & Mayfield,he went to primary
school between Mayfield West & Waratah .Then Completed his secondary schooling at Broadmeadow
High.
He became a Bricklayer , then trained as a Locomotive Engine driver with State Rail of NSW.
He enlisted in the 15 Northern River Lancers in 1950 ,then went to National Service in 1952 ,after National Service he went with 14 Field Squadron Royal Australian Engineers till          1971and became a Cub Leader with Edgeworth Scouts in 1979,then became Group Leader of 1st Speers Point Group for 7 years. resigning in 1990.
He has now retired from the railway and is trying to learn about the computer.
We  are both involved with The Australian Silky  Terrier Club of Northern NSW.
Denise is Secretary & Fred is Treasurer,& we produce a Newsletter every 3 Months for the Club.
We have two Children David 28 & Kim 26.Both are married

I am Fred Morley  with Denise I have lived at Edgeworth sinc 1969 and been married for 33 years.My job is to look after the      kennels while Denise looks after the Silkies.
