Stu Pickles is Didi's husband and Tommy's dad. He is a self-employed inventor who works from his basement workshop, inventing toys which he tries out on Tommy. He has his own toy company, and is convinced that his next invention will "put Pickles Toys on the map". He occassionally has some success with his inventions. Tommy loves most of Stu's toys (Mr Friend was a disaster), and Stu is a loving and caring father.
